By Kelas Sekejap Team · 8 Aug 2026 · 5 min read

You don’t need a hundred linking words. You need six that you can use without thinking.

Fluency is mostly the absence of dead air. The six connectors below buy you time, signal structure, and make short sentences feel like one flowing answer.

01 · The six

Actually to correct yourself gracefully. To be honest to introduce an opinion. For example to land an idea. On the other hand to show balance. That's why to close a reason. In the end to wrap up.

02 · One per sentence, maximum

Connectors are seasoning. One per sentence sounds natural; three sounds like a grammar textbook escaping captivity. Record yourself for one minute and count — if you hear the same connector twice in a row, swap in a different one.

03 · Attach them to habits

Tie each connector to a situation, not a translation. Opinion coming? To be honest. Example coming? For example. The pairing becomes automatic within a week of two-minute practices.
