Train your ear with ten-minute podcast loops
Stop listening to more. Start listening again. The loop method turns one clip into a week of progress.
Most listening practice fails because it is really just background noise with guilt attached. The loop method is the opposite: one short clip, five focused passes, ten minutes total.
01 · Pick a clip you 80% understand
Too easy teaches nothing; too hard teaches frustration. You want a clip where you catch most of it but a few phrases slip past.
02 · The five passes
Pass one: just listen. Pass two: note the words you missed. Pass three: read the transcript while listening. Pass four: listen again without the transcript. Pass five: say the three best phrases out loud, copying the rhythm.
03 · Same clip, next day
Tomorrow, play it once more before choosing a new clip. Hearing yesterday's mystery phrases arrive clearly is the single most motivating moment in language learning. Bank it daily.
